What is a member site? Anyone who is a fan of Jean Auel's Earth's Children and has a website of their own can list their website as an ECfans.com-munity Member Site. (As long as the content on it is appropriate for the 'general' audience. I reserve the right to screen entries.)

Does my site have to be ABOUT Jean Auel's books? No! Our global community at ECfans.com consists of an amazing variety of people, all who have other interests in life - which is part of what makes us such an interesting group! Your other interests are part of you and you're welcome to share them with your EC friends!

What do I have to do to become a Member Site? Glad you asked! It's a fairly simple 3 step process:

  1. Submit your website to ECfans Links using the add link at the top of the category that best describes your site content. Be sure and include a good description - it's searchable and will help people find your site more easily!
  2. Add the ECfans.com-munity navigation box on your website. The only requirement is that it must be somewhere on the specific page you submitted to the ECfans Links entry - or easy to locate if your site is framed.
  3. Email Diane in Cincinnati at . You'll need to tell me that you want to be added to the http://fansites.ecfans.com list. Be sure to include the ECfans Links Link ID for your site listing. (You'll find that in your site listing once it's been added to the database.)

Visit this ECfans.com-munity member site!Once I've verified your site is listed in the correct category and all requirements above have been met, I'll add this special Member Sites Logo to your entry, which will keep it at the top of the category your site is listed in (normally alphabetical), place it on the special Member Sites listing, AND help it to stand out from the rest!

Just paste the code below to your page to add the ECfans.com-munity navigation box (lower right) to YOUR site:
<script src="http://ecfans.com/fansites.js"></script>

Tech Notes:

  • Since the navigation box is a javascript, it will always be current! It's designed to work with 3.x and up versions of IE and Netscape browsers.
  • The graphics themselves are only semi-transparent, so dark backgrounds will have a whitish edge around the ECfans.community text.
  • The script contents are in a HTML table. Please contact Diane if you have questions about how to align the navigation box on your webpage.
