    Well researched and well written story of different generations of a line of women starting one million years ago with Homo habilis and ending with Homo sapiens or Cro-Magnon around 50,000 - 35,000 years ago. It's sometimes hard to make the transition between the generations of Zena's as you have to learn each new character fresh.
